My Story
I'm Angela Deville - a commercial helicopter pilot, flight instructor, entrepreneur, and animal rights advocate. For years, I soared above cities and coastlines, with a bird's eye view, helping others achieve their dreams in business and aviation. But beneath the roar of rotors and the rhythm of business, a deeper calling stirred: the silent voices of exotic cats and wild animals in need of protection.

About HeloCougar

After building a successful career in aviation and business consulting, I felt a shift. My soul pulled me toward something more instinctual: a life dedicated to wildlife rescue, sanctuary development, and education. HeloCougar was born as a bridge between flight and rescue, business and aviation, power and compassion, uniting my expertise with my mission to protect those who cannot speak.
The HALO Foundation
HALO - Helping Animals Left Orphaned - is the nonprofit vision that grew from this calling.
Our Mission:
To ensure that no companion animal is left without care in the event of death, incapacity, or abandonment of their guardian.

What We Do:
HALO provides:
-
Emergency intake & rehoming - for animals in urgent need of safe placement
-
Lifelong sanctuary services - for both domestic and exotic companions
-
Specialized exotic cat care - a private sanctuary for servals, caracals, savannahs, and others who may not otherwise be rehomed.
-
Partnerships with conservation groups, policymakers and other agencies - working together to safeguard biodiversity and ethical coexistence
-
Community outreach and education - raising awareness about responsible pet huardianship and the importance of protecting wildlife.
Why It Matters:
In a world where sanctuaries face rising costs, limited support, and growing regulatory constraints, HALO stands as a beacon of hope, offering sustainable solutions and advocacy for both animals and the people who care for them.

Our Purpose:
Through HeloCougar and the HALO Foundation, I stand for fierce, unapologetic purpose: to empower people and protect animals. This work isn't only about rescue, it is about rebirth, healing, and returning to the wild parts of ourselves.
