My Story

I didn’t become the woman I am because life went easily.
I became her because life shattered me, stripped me, tested me, and then asked me to rise.

My path has not been linear.
It has been forged through a decade of loss, betrayal, danger, instinct, and awakening.
I’ve buried the woman I used to be more than once — only to rebuild myself stronger, clearer, and more sovereign each time.

I moved to Los Angeles with a heart full of intention: to build a life centered around beauty, animals, and women’s empowerment.
But within a few years, I found myself navigating some of the darkest chapters of my life.

I lost my mother after a long, painful battle that reshaped my understanding of love and mortality.
I endured a violent relationship and a night no woman should ever have to survive - one that ended in me fighting for my life and later standing alone to bail myself out and rebuild again.
I faced a level of betrayal few ever experience - an entire alternate reality built on falsified documents, fabricated identities, and calculated deception, ultimately requiring conversations with federal prosecutors.
I lost animals who were pieces of my soul.
I carried financial strain, emotional trauma, and moments of fear that shook the ground beneath me.
I survived a close call with a massive brush fire.

But more than anything, I walked through all of it alone - except for my cats.

Bugsy, Pantera, Slaya, and the spirits of the ones I’ve lost were the ones who reminded me who I am.
They pulled me out of the spirals, the shame, the shock, and the numbness.

They taught me the most important truth:

The wild in me was never meant to die.
It was waiting for me to return to it.

Throughout all of this, I was unknowingly building skills that would become the foundation of my real purpose.

I became a commercial helicopter pilot — learning precision, perspective, and the ability to stay calm in chaos.
I became a consultant — guiding businesses through complexity and strengthening the confidence of those I served.
I spent years with exotic cats — understanding instinct, sovereignty, and the language of the voiceless.
I learned resilience not from books or mentors, but from surviving what most people never face.

Every chapter — painful or triumphant — was training.

Training to become a protector.
Training to become a leader.
Training to build what I’m building now.

Today, I stand in the role I was forged for:

The Aviatrix of the Wild

Protector of the Feral and Feminine

Guardian of Wildcats • Advocate for Women
Founder of the Sovereign Wild Sanctuary

My mission is twofold:

To protect the wild — in animals and in women.
For the cats of the world who have been misunderstood, mistreated, or left behind.
For the women who have been silenced, diminished, or domesticated by life and are ready to reclaim their power.

The Sovereign Wild Sanctuary is not just a place.
It is a vision.
A calling.
A home for the feral heart - feline and feminine alike.

A place where instinct is honored.
Where sovereignty is restored.
Where the wild is not tamed, but remembered.

I am here to build something sacred.
For the animals I love.
For the women who rise.
For the part of all of us that refuses to be owned, controlled, or defined by anyone but ourselves.

My story is not a tragedy.
It is a transformation.

And everything I do now is devoted to helping others rise into their wild truth -
just as I rose into mine.

HeloCougar Enterprises

After decades of building careers in aviation, business, and coaching, I reached a turning point-

a moment when instinct grew louder than logic…
a moment when my life, my losses, and my calling aligned into a single truth:

I am meant to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

HeloCougar was born from that truth - a bridge between flight and rescue, precision and compassion, instinct and leadership.

It is the expression of everything I stand for:

  • the wild

  • the sovereign

  • the vulnerable

  • the ones without a voice

Through HeloCougar, I bring together all aspects of my experience - aviation, sanctuary development, behavioral insight, business strategy, and women’s empowerment - to build something sacred and lasting.

The HALO Foundation

HALOHelping Animals Left Orphaned — is the nonprofit born from my deepest conviction:
no companion animal should ever be left without protection.

HALO exists to provide:

  • Emergency intake & rehoming for animals suddenly left without guardians

  • Lifelong sanctuary for those who cannot be safely rehomed

  • Specialized exotic cat care (servals, caracals, savannahs, and other sensitive species)

  • Collaboration with sanctuaries, conservationists & policymakers

  • Education & outreach to foster responsible guardianship and protect wildlife

In an era where sanctuaries are overwhelmed, underfunded, and facing mounting regulatory obstacles, HALO stands as a lifeline for the animals who fall through the cracks.

Why It Matters

I’ve seen firsthand the consequences when animals are left behind - confusion, fear, abandonment, and suffering.
And I’ve also seen the extraordinary healing that happens when they are met with safety, instinct-led care, and respect.

My private sanctuary, along with HALO’s broader mission, is built on a simple belief:

Every animal deserves dignity.
Every creature deserves safety.
Every being deserves a protector.

This work is not just rescue.
It’s restoration.
It’s advocacy.
It’s leadership.
It’s the intersection of everything I’ve survived and everything I’ve become.

My Purpose

Through HeloCougar and The HALO Foundation, I stand for fierce, unapologetic purpose -
to empower people and protect animals.

My work is about rebirth, instinct, sovereignty, and returning to the wild parts of ourselves that life tries to silence.

The Aviatrix of the Wild.
The Huntress–Protector.
A guardian of cats and a guide for women reclaiming their power.

This is my calling.
This is my mission.
This is my life’s work.
